“As the story of Hurricane Laura has fallen from the headlines, we know the people of Louisiana continue to hurt and need your help.”
-- Ashley Shelton, Executive Director, The Power Coalition
With so many urgent needs for so many across the nation, it can be difficult to keep up. That’s why we decided to go right to the source and ask four Louisiana leaders on the ground to share what’s really going on in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura. And they have shared that the need there is urgent, indeed.
With reminders of Katrina - residents stepping over live wires in Lake Charles, families without homes or food, carrying little more than the clothes on their backs and sheltering in hotels across the region - your contribution will make a real difference.
